本プライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」）は、IELTS Diary（以下「本サービス」）において、利用者の情報をどのように取得・利用・管理するかを定めるものです。
1. 取得する情報
本サービスでは、以下の情報を取得する場合があります。
1.1 利用者が入力する情報
- 日記や作文など、利用者が入力した英語テキスト
- AI添削や会話機能に送信するテキスト
1.2 端末に保存される情報
- 日記、添削結果、学習履歴などのアプリ内データ
- 設定情報（同意状態、オンボーディングの進捗など）
1.3 外部サービス連携に伴い取得される情報
- 匿名認証に伴い発行される識別子（Firebase UID）
- エラーログやクラッシュレポート（Sentry）
- 広告配信に必要な情報（Google AdMob）
2. 利用目的
取得した情報は、以下の目的で利用します。
- 本サービスの提供（AI添削、会話練習、日記作成支援など）
- 機能改善・品質向上
- 不正利用防止・セキュリティ強化（App Check、レート制限等）
- 障害解析・不具合修正
- 広告配信
3. 外部サービスの利用
本サービスでは、機能提供のために以下の外部サービスを利用します。

3.1 Gemini APIに関するデータ取り扱い
本サービスは、Google Gemini Developer API の有料版（Paid Tier）を前提として運用します。
有料版では、AI添削や会話で送信されたプロンプトおよびレスポンスはモデルの学習・改善には使用されません。
また、濫用監視のために一定期間（55日間）保持されますが、機密情報として扱われます。
※無料版（Free Tier）へ移行する場合は、本ポリシーの記載内容を改めて見直します。
4. 情報の保管期間
端末内に保存される情報は、利用者がアプリを削除するまで保持されます。
外部サービスに保存される情報の保持期間は、各サービス提供者のポリシーに従います。
5. 第三者提供
法令に基づく場合を除き、利用者の情報を第三者に提供することはありません。
ただし、本ポリシーに記載の外部サービス提供者への送信は、第三者提供に該当します。
6. 安全管理
利用者情報の漏えい、滅失、毀損の防止その他の安全管理のために、合理的な措置を講じます。
7. 利用者の権利
利用者は、アプリ内データの削除やアプリのアンインストールにより、端末内に保存された情報を削除できます。
外部サービスに保存された情報については、各提供者の手続きに従う必要があります。
8. 改定
本ポリシーは、必要に応じて内容を改定することがあります。改定後の内容は、本サービス内またはその他適切な方法で通知します。

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") describes how IELTS Diary (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") collects, uses, and manages user information.
1. Information We Collect
The Service may collect the following information:
1.1 Information Entered by Users
- English text entered by users, such as diary entries and written compositions
- Text submitted to AI proofreading and conversation features
1.2 Information Stored on the Device
- In-app data such as diary entries, proofreading results, and learning history
- Settings information (consent status, onboarding progress, etc.)
1.3 Information Collected Through External Service Integration
- Identifiers issued through anonymous authentication (Firebase UID)
- Error logs and crash reports (Sentry)
- Information necessary for ad delivery (Google AdMob)
2. Purpose of Use
The collected information is used for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service (AI proofreading, conversation practice, diary creation assistance, etc.)
- Feature improvement and quality enhancement
- Prevention of unauthorized use and security enhancement (App Check, rate limiting, etc.)
- Incident analysis and bug fixes
- Ad delivery

The Service uses the following external services to provide its features:

3.1 Data Handling for the Gemini API
The Service operates on the assumption of using the paid tier of the Google Gemini Developer API.
Under the paid tier, prompts and responses sent through AI proofreading and conversation features are not used for model training or improvement.
Additionally, data is retained for a limited period (55 days) for abuse monitoring purposes, but is treated as confidential information.
If the Service transitions to the free tier, the contents of this Policy will be reviewed accordingly.
4. Data Retention Period
Information stored on the device is retained until the user deletes the app.
The retention period for information stored by external services is subject to the policies of each respective service provider.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
User information will not be provided to third parties except as required by law.
However, transmission of data to the external service providers described in this Policy constitutes disclosure to third parties.
6. Security Measures
We take reasonable measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of user information and to ensure its secure management.
7. User Rights
Users may delete information stored on their device by deleting in-app data or uninstalling the app.
For information stored by external services, users must follow the procedures established by each respective service provider.
8. Amendments
This Policy may be amended as necessary. Any amendments will be communicated to users within the Service or through other appropriate means.
